FAKE NEWS

Fake news are all aroun the internet and we recieve them every day, this is an example of one of them:
Just when you think that President Donald Trump can’t get worse, he proves you wrong,
Recently he said that he didn’t believe the official death toll from Hurricane Maria which hit Puerto Rico. The death toll has been recorded at about 3,000 people. However, Trump has declared his government’s relief mission was a resounding success and only about 18 people died.
Trump supporters also back the president. According to an Occidental Public Polling survey, 70 percent of Trump supporters believe the media inflated the death toll to make the president looked bad.
“The liberal media hates Trump and will do anything to make the president look bad,” said Don Callen, a Trump supporter from Tampa, Fla. “I reckon the media faked the numbers.”

This fake new was made to make people hate Donal Trump as you can see.

Mass media in our life

What is mass media?

Mass media is a diversified conection of mass technologies that reach a large audience via mass comunication. The technologies through which this communication takes place include a variety of outlets.
Broadcast media transmit information electronically, via such media as film, radio, recorded music, or television. Digital media comprises both Internet and mobile mass communication. Internet media comprise such services as email, social media sites, websites, and Internet-based radio and television

How does it change our lifes?
 3 Examples of mass media:

1- LA SEXTA: At this popular Spanish channel, we can find some very famous programmes and series, for example.... El Intermedio, Al Rojo Vivo, Zapeando, Pesadilla en la Cocina and more. We can see that this channel is a politically progresist one and that they give an objetive view of the news. https://www.lasexta.com/programas/el-intermedio/

2- ETB 1 and ETB 2: These Basque channels are both public channels and they produce some programmes like A Bokados, Pausoz Pauso, and Gure Kasa. It's obvious that this channel is progresist too and at some programmes we can see they're independentists too. https://www.eitb.eus/es/television/programas/

3- HBO: Hbo Spain is the second most used series channel behind Netflix and it owns Game of Thrones,  the most popular series in the world. Game of Thrones is also my favourite series. This mass media channel isn't related at all with news and politics so it doesn't give us any point of view of it. https://es.hboespana.com/
